THERMAL BATHS
The great attraction of Machupicchu town is the natural hot springs, known for its medicinal properties, they are located just 10 minutes away up the hill from the main plaza, along Pachacutec Avenue, there are lockers available near the attendant, the baths are open from 5:00 am untill 9:00 p.m. You can rent towels for one dollar there.

ARTS AND CRAFTS
People in Machupicchu produce a variety of arts and crafts for sale, including carving stone in granite directly extracted from Machupicchu mountains. Jewelry, traditional blankets, rugs, sweaters, ceramics and hand made dolls. The sale of these products is the main source of income for most of the people in town.

MONEY EXCHANGE
There is one commercial bank in town , Banco de Credito , and one ATM machine In the Bank open 24 hrs, to exchange dollars, euros or travel checks, the exchage is cheaper and easier in Cusco, you can also exchange in many different businesses and hotels in town, no one accepts ripped dollars not even the bank.

CAMP GROUND
Outside town there is one public camping ground, 15 minutes away in Puente Ruins at the edge of the Urubamba river , there is a charge of 4US$ per night, and is equipped with toilets and showers.

MAIL SERVICES AND WESTERN UNION IN TOWN
There are mail services, normal and express, mail boxes are located in various businesses.
