PUTUCUSI MOUNTAIN
Putucusi reaches and altitude of 2,600 meters above sea level. The name in the quechua language means happy mountain also known as the mountain of the half orange. 

Hiking it is a steep ascenting climb from town that takes 3 hours round trip, the ascent is much easier during the dry season from March to November, for people with a good level of physical fitness. This round shaped mountain is where you can experience a unique spectacular view of Machupicchu from across the river as well as other amasing mountains around you.

MANDORPAMPA
Hiking along the train tracks and along the Urubamba river, takes 1hr and 30 minutes, then you will find one house, the only house, them turn to the right side of the train line walk 15 minutes more along the forest, where you will find the Natural waterfall. The attraction of Mandorpampa is the natural waterfall surrounded by leafed vegetation. Native flora ad fauna can be appreciated such as the cock of the rocks, typically know as el tunqui, great care is recommended for this hike as the path fallows the train line and in the afternoon one train returns from Km 122 and at times it is not possible to hear the approach of the train due to the sound of the river , the country side is fascinating , take a lunch bag.

THE SACRED PATH
Get off the train at km 104, cross the bridge, then walk 2 hrs up the hill to Wiñnay Wayna arqueological centre , afterward, continue along the Inka trail to Machupicchu take 6 hrs hiking. , now is mandatory to have a especial permition to do this trail, accompanied with your tour guide, and you have to buy your ticket for this trail in Cusco Instituto Nacional de Culture in Calle Garcilaso.
